Very nice table lamp with a bronze foot and a Bohemian art glass shade. The bronze foot is based on the organic form of a plant. The art glass shade has a beautiful pattern on the iridescent glass which has blown into a mould, with trails on the surface.
The shade is made by Pallme-König. The lamp could be a design from the Austrian artist Gustav Gurschner (1873-1970). Several lamps are known from him with a shade from Pallme-König, even with the same pattern. Gustav Gurschner was inspired in his designs by the sinuous lines of the Art Nouveau and the symmetry of the Wiener Werkstätte.
The lamp is not signed.
Good, the lamp is totally rewired in the old style with porcelain fittings etc.
