Small enameld box
About this piece
Very artistic and unusual small box of copper that is silver plated on the inside and enamelled on the outside. The lid shows a portrait of a young woman, the portrait is quite unusual in colour and anything but traditional.
According to the previous owner, an antique dealer, the box is Viennese and made in the period of the Wiener Werkstätte. The box was part of his private collection for more than 30 years.
The box is not signed.
