Lovely and elegant flower nymph. It is a typical bronze that was very loved in the Art Nouveau period, nature served as inspiration which is clearly visible.
In the Art Nouveau period, the flower nymphs can be seen everywhere, they are incorporated in jewellery, as decoration on vases, on facades of buildings, but also on engravings and as illustrations in books or magazines. Actually a kind of goddesses of Art Nouveau.
This bronze nymph is patinated with a green and brown patina.
It's not signed.
Good, the patina is a bit worn from age and use, which is perfectly normal.
