Atelier Fanus exists between 1920-1930 and was a French workplace specialised in Art glass with an enamel decoration. They employed artists which made the design and the enamel decoration on the vases. The vases itself were blown into a mall and most of them were made of opal glass.
This opal glass vase has a nice shape and a beautiful stylised flower decoration in enamel. It's a typical Art Deco piece. The inside of the vase is satinated with the use of a etching liquid.
The vase is signed with 'Fanus' at the border of the decoration.
