Beautiful stylised dancer made by A. Bécas. The surface division and simplicity of the design are reminiscent of cubist influences. She is also in a very nice dance position.

During the 1920's and 1930's, car mascots were very popular, many artists designed them. Everybody could choose their own hood ornament. They were made of bronze, metal, chrome, brass or even glass. Eventually mascots caused serious injuries by car accidents, the glass one were banned.
