About this piece

Beautiful bronze female dancer, from the 1920s. The dynamic dance posture and the position of the head make this sculpture very pleasant to look at, there is so much expression and movement in it.

This sculpture shows a lot of affinity with the work of the German artist Milly Steger, especially with regard to the lightly stylized style and expression.

The name of the artist/artist of this sculpture, remains a question mark since the bronze is signed, but cannot be deciphered, unfortunately.

The bronze has a darkbrown-greenish patina and is placed on a red marble base.

Condition

Very good, the patina is a little jaded here and there, which is very normal because of the age of the bronze.
