Art deco floorlamp

About this piece

Large imposing Art Deco standing lamp made of wrought iron with a large flared shade of opalescent glass encased in lead. The opalescent glass gives the glass a beautiful warm golden glow when it burns.
The flared shade makes this lamp extra special, but the wrought iron design is also beautiful and very elegant.

This lamp was made in France in the Art Deco period during the 1920s-30s. The lamp is unfortunately not signed, important makers of this type of lamps were Edgar Brandt, Edouard and Marcel Schenck, Paul Kiss, Raymond Subes, Nics Frères, Michael Zadounaisky and others.

Condition

The electricity is somewhat outdated, although it has already been adapted before to modern times and the lamp works fine. The plug is not grounded. The lamp itself is in excellent condition.
